Emotion-tracking is currently used as a tool for measuring data in order to identify emotions — indirectly rendering invisible all the emotions that do not fit into the standardized system.

After merging an analytical study of emotion-theories with creative coding and de-coding, the value in unidentified emotions became the starting point to safeguard against the current simplified and externally imposed emotional regime.

The ‘collector of emotions’ aims to disrupt current numerical categorization by translating tracked facial data into different colors. While submitting an emotion, the homepage will showcase the most recently saved emotion.

Design Academy Gradution Project 2019 - Exhibited at Dutch Design Week 2019 's background will change depending on latest saved unofficial emotion, colors are assigned depending on which facial area is being tracked (i.e. multiple colors represent full expression).
